Mobile Technologies blurring the distinction
between home and work
In todays society, more and more employees are being introduced to mobile technologies in the workplace. this means that people are able to work at home and have access to their work at home using portable devices such as iPads, tablets and smart phones. With everything there are advantages and disadvantages that goes with this, for example: working at home creates more enjoyable and flexible working hours and it makes the work fit around the employee's family life if they have children to look after. However, the disadvantages include for the companies the are unsure whether the employee is working sufficient hours and whether they aren't working 100% to their potential because the bosses cannot keep an eye on them at work.
